Scanning Backlight how it works and what does panasonic?
Hi,
Any info around regarding release date for WT50 please? Hope its not June 2012..thanks
Peter
How do these 180/360 (E5/E50/ET50) Backlight Scanning models compare to 120/240Hz panels?
An excellent question. We updated the post to inlclude the native refresh rate and the number of scanning sections. In Panasonic marketing lingo “backlight scanning” is:
refresh x backlight sections= “backlight scanning“. i.e. 240 x 8=1920, 120 x 3 = 360 and 60 x 3=180.
