Get the Panasonic… The reviews are GREAT and I’ve noticed that on two ore more web sites that tracks popularity that the Panasonic 58, 50 and 42 are basically 1, 2 and 3, the next one was the Pioneer 42.

I’ve had my Panasonic 50″ for a month now. I initially purchased a Viso, returned it, then I got a Phillips 42 returned it, got the Phillips 47. These were all LCD’s, but I eventually learned that if you watch a lot of sports you really need a Plasma. I got the 50″ Panasonic Plamas and I’ve been TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY!

I cant decide between the Panasonic TH-42PX77U or Hitachi 42HDX99. Are hitachis as reliable as pannys.
I see they offer a 2year in home warranty for the Hitachi Directors series plasmas.

    Thanks
