Thanks for your geek software sharing but I agree with first comment, although this is a quite nice tip but how much you have to spend for this?

Hello,

What this article doesn't mention is the cost of this little rig. When I read "Adobe CS3 Production Premium" I stopped and checked the price on Amazon.com: it was over $1000. A blue ray burner: you'll be lucky to find one around $150. Single layers blue ray disc (25GB) have come down in price to around $4 a piece.

Personally I use multiAVCHD found there
 http://multiavchd.deanbg.com/
It allows me to burn my HD videos without any kind of conversion straight from my HD camera to a regular DVD 4.5GB for single layer, or 8GB for double layers using the burner I already own and disc which are under a dollar each. You get about 20 to 40 minutes of video per disc.

I couple that with my favorite DVD burner application program which also happens to be free: imgburn http://www.imgburn.com/

I'm sure multiAVCHD doesn't have all the fancy doodads that Adobe has, but it has menus, chapters to make a pretty decent looking DVD containing HD video. It plays just fine on a PS3 but also has options for other BD players as well.

It took me a few attempts to figure out all the right options that's when a rewritable DVD came in very handy.

With the money saved I could almost buy a new TV.
